CARVER CENTER AND CARITAS EXPAND
SUMMER FOOD DISTRIBUTION TO
CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.
Beginning July 13, Carver Center will distribute
breakfast and lunch to Port Chester School District
children every weekday at the Thomas A. Edison School
in Port Chester.
Free meals will be distributed to all children
ages 18 years and under. We anticipate serving
600 breakfasts and 600 lunches each day
between the hours of 10:00am - 2:00pm
until August 31st.
Caritas of Port Chester will distribute weekend meals
for the entire family at the Edison site on Fridays.
More than 70% of Port Chester school-aged children are eligible for free and reduced lunch.
Through this vital program, our Port Chester families
and children can count on healthy meals for their
children all summer long.
The Carver Market will continue to supplement our community's need for food during regular Market hours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday afternoons, beginning at 1:00pm. Caritas is supplying prepared meals to the
Market for distribution and is delivering meals to families
