2018 Bringing the World to Northeastern Pennsylvania
This is the 21st year that NEPA Alliance will be hosting Bringing the World to Northeastern Pennsylvania (BTWTNEPA)! The event will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Woodlands Inn in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

BTWTNEPA brings to the region Pennsylvania's 15 authorized trade advisors to meet one-on-one with northeastern Pennsylvania businesses that are interested in developing international markets. The trade advisors meet with business in any industry sector, both new-to-exporting and experience exports, and provide insight to the market to help them successfully develop the market. The trade advisors want to meet with northeastern Pennsylvania businesses and learn about them and their international development endeavors and needs.

The trade advisors represent the following markets: Canada , Mexico , United Kingdom ( Ireland, Scandinavia Countries), The Netherlands (Belgium, France), Germany ( Austria, Italy), Czech Republic (all central and eastern European countries), Israel (Jordan, Turkey, Egypt), United Arab Emirates (Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar), Saudi Arabia , India , Australia ( New Zealand), Singapore (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand), China , Taiwan , and South Korea .

There is no cost to attend the event or meet with the trade advisors. Registration is required.

Global Access Program

GAP funding is still available for companies wishing to offset costs of participating in an international trade activity, trade show, mission, business trip. Companies wanting to apply can contact NEPA's International Program for the required documents.

& Deck Expo

The Pennsylvania Hardwood Development Council has a Pennsylvania Booth at the Remodeling Show & Deck Expo www.remodelingdeck.com which will take place October 10-11, 2018 in Baltimore, Maryland. Registration fee is $1,000. 
Medica 2018
MEDICA 2018 is held November 12 - 15, 2018 in Düsseldorf, Germany. The Pennsylvania Pavilion allows Pennsylvania companies to exhibit, network and develop sales at the largest medical expo and trade show for the medical industry sector, www.medica-tradefair.com .Nearly 5,000 exhibitors and 123,000 industry professionals from all over the world attended MEDICA 2017. The registration fee for a spot in the Pennsylvania Pavilion is $3,500. Mexico Aerospace Trade Mission
The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors & Premiers is organizing a Mexico Aerospace Trade Mission November 11 - 14, 2018 with stops in Queretaro and Chihuahua, Mexico.

The Mexican Federation of the Aerospace Industry (FEMIA), will be holding a FREE "Doing Business in Mexico's Aerospace Sector" webinar for companies from the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence region on Wednesday August 8, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time (10:00 a.m. Central Time) . Participants can register online at

Bauma 2019

A Pennsylvania booth is being organized at Bauma 2019 www.bauma.de by the Southern Alleghenies Planning and Development Commission for Pennsylvania companies interested in exhibiting at this major international trade show for the Construction, machinery, Building Material, Construction Vehicles and Equipment and Mining Machines. Cost per booth (2.5mx3.0m) space is $4,000.
