Legacy Spotlight
A legacy student has a family member who attended Culver-Stockton College.

We are so glad that our current legacies made the decision to attend C-SC. They are carrying on the legacy of success from generation to generation.

We thought you might enjoy meeting a few of the legacies.
Legacy Lunch
While we might not have meetings like a typical club, we love to spoil our legacies throughout the semester. We kicked off the semester by inviting our legacies to join us and President Kelly Thompson for lunch.

Career Corner
Professional Experience
A Pillar of Experiential Education
Professional experience, such as internships, clinicals, and student teaching, provides students with practical application and skill development in a professional setting. Students prepare for their future careers in a real-world setting while applying the concepts they have learned in the classroom.

Daniel Smith, a 2018 graduate in accountancy and finance says, “Having a required internship is so valuable. It motivates you to obtain relevant experience in your field. The experience I’ve gained from C-SC and my internship will benefit me greatly in my career.”
The C-SC Career Services Office assists students with resumes, cover letters and internships, as well as full-time placement upon graduation. If your organization has open positions, the Career Services Office can help you connect with students.

Contact Robin Jarvis `09, MBA `16 at rjarvis@culver.edu or 573-288-6536 for more information.

Spamalot Reception
Before the first performance of Monty Python's musical comedy "Spamalot" by the C-SC theatre department on Friday, there was a delay on September 27. The Canton, MO., area was under a tornado and severe thunderstorm watch.

The cast and the audience stayed in the basement for more than an hour until the storm passed. But, the show did go on.

A reception was planned for alumni, friends and family after the performance. With the storm delay, the audience was now family and everyone enjoyed an extended intermission with a popcorn bar and seasonal treats.
