Boogie, Fling, Picnic

It's time to Boogie Back to Bastrop for the Western Swing Festival. Friday evening features Jeff Woolsey & Dancehall Kings and Rocky King Band. Then Saturday it's de ja vu all over again as the same two bands provide the music you need to shuffle on! In Houston, get ready to dance to the Red Ravens at the Summer Fling, KC Hall on Whitney Drive. Dinner is also served plus they always have a fun bucket raffle for some unique refreshment baskets.

On Sunday, pray, picnic, polka! Incredible Music Makers play at Sts. Cyril & Methodius in Cistern. They're also doing a karaoke contest with cash prizes. This could be your big break!...The Holub Polka Band provides the music at St. Mary's Bazaar in Ellinger.

Also this weekend - Saturday: The Wall Dance Club near San Angelo will host the Czechaholics. Sunday: Glen Collins & The Alibis are in Elgin...Southern Breeze is at VFW in Houston...Roger Kirby & Texas Heartbeat are at Sefcik Hall...GEEZER is at Gruenau Hall in Yorktown.
