A View from the Street: Yale Public Art & Architecture Self-Guided Tours

While the buildings of Yale University remain closed to the general public, that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the exteriors of incredible architecture and outdoor public art.

Student guided tours are not currently being offered as a safety precaution.

As always, we ask that you observe the public health protocols: distancing by 6 feet, frequently washing your hands frequently and wearing a mask that covers both your nose and mouth.

2020 Virtual Craft Expo

Greater New Haven has always loved the annual Guilford Craft Expo on the Guilford Green. This year, while still featuring 170 American Artisans' traditional and contemporary fine crafts, the event has gone virtual. With events canceled for public safety, this is a great opportunity to peruse beautiful offerings while supporting artists from around the U.S.

The Connecticut Office of Tourism hit the road throughout the state to video just some of the hotels, restaurants and attractions walking the walk when it comes to keeping their guests and employees safe.

Travel Advisory

Effective 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, anyone traveling into Connecticut, New York, or New Jersey from a state that has a new daily positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents or a state with a 10% or higher positivity rate over a 7-day rolling average are directed to self-quarantine for a 14-day period from the time of last contact within the identified state.
