Dear Emperor's Faculty, Staff, and Students:

It is my pleasure to announce the addition of two new online databases to the resources available for your research. As of last month, we now have access to MedLine with Full Tex tand eBook Clinical Collection through our EBSCO online database subscription.

The specialists from EBSCO are offering a training session for Emperor's College students, students, staff, and faculty on the use of these databases. The trainings will be conducted online on Monday, August 27 at 1pm, PDT and Thursday, August 30 at 10am, PDT.  You'll find more information below on how to connect to the training sessions.

MedLine with Full Text  provides an index of the articles listed on PubMed and offers the full text of more than 1,470 journals. This promises to expedite your research process as more material will be available immediately and with unlimited use for Emperor's students and faculty.

The eBook Clinical Collectionconsists of over 3,500 titles on medical specialties, nursing, allied health, and general practice. Newer eBooks replace older titles to ensure access to the most up-to-date information. Access to eBooks is also unlimited, meaning that there is no cut-off to the number of students who may access the material at any given time.

The EBSCO interface allows for robust search features to sort through the abundance of resources and find more precisely what you need. Additionally, My EBSCOhost allows researchers to save articles and searches for later reference. These features may prove particularly helpful for those who are working on larger projects, such as the DAOM capstone or articles for publication.

I encourage you to take a look around and explore all the new resources, using the following information below.

If you have any questions, I look forward to hearing from you!
