From grandparents to recent graduates, skydivers to gardeners, and Blackhawks fans to Packers fans, participants in the Multicultural Leadership Program Class of 2019 are uniquely diverse but firmly united in their resolve to grow as servant leaders.
More often than not, leadership is thought of in terms of a career, and the image of that stereotypical, type A, take-charge individual comes to mind. But leadership can go much beyond that.
MCLP and YWCA McLean County will co-sponsor this year's poverty simulation - a live role-play of families trapped in poverty - on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at YWCA McLean County.
