- Crews may need to trim or remove trees or other plant material to safely access equipment.
- To ensure your safety during construction, there will be traffic lane and sidewalk closures. Crew members will use appropriate traffic control signs and flags.

AVOID BECOMING A VICTIM OF A
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
|
|
When you go to work, so do the burglars. There is little that a burglar loves more than an easily accessible unoccupied home. The strategy for success is simple, make your home look sound and occupied. Homes that appear to be unoccupied are welcome targets of opportunity.
With little effort, you can make your beloved home less appealing to criminals. Each week, tips on how to protect yourself and your home will be featured on Guac Talk.
This week's tip:
Secure you car.
|
|
Parking your car in your driveway may give you a sense of security, but always err on the side of caution by taking valuables like cell phones, purses, GPS devices and satellite radios inside.
NEVER
leave anything of value in plain view, and
ALWAYS
lock the doors and roll up the windows. Never leave a spare key in the visor or anywhere else inside the car, even if the car is locked. Break-ins occur in even the safest neighborhoods, and an unlocked car is one of the easiest possible targets.
