NWESI | Silver Sponsor
Jewel Bergeron, jewelb@nwesi.com

How can members best connect with you?
NWESI is open and business has remained steady. Our local office in Tigard is staffed with a few team members each day to remain efficient and responsive in serving our clients. Our team members can be reached in normal business fashion: calling our main office at (503) 639-7525, their direct cell phone, or by email.
What is different about the way you are operating during the COVID-19 quarantine?
Many employees that are able to work remotely are setup to do so. There has been an increase in video conference calls for our regular business and strategy meetings with peers and clients. In many cases, this has increased efficiency -  think no traffic, parking or lack of participating in large meetings.  Participation from all attendees via video conference calls has increased, which has expedited meeting times and collaboration from various team members. Our engineers and technicians are still able to access our equipment and trucks needed to get to job sites each day. Our job sites have a designated Social Distancing Officer, and our team has committed to maintain social distancing spacing and increased cleanliness protocols. While hand sanitizer has been hard to trace, NWESI families took it upon themselves to create sanitizing solution to protect our team members; these families also made face masks to send to each branch office—now that's a change from regular business!
What specific services are you offering?
Peace of mind. We support commercial owners and operators ensuring building system performance is maintained, and plans in new construction become reality. In addition to our primary services, Whole Building Commissioning and HVAC Testing & Balancing, we are offering “4 Steps to Getting your HVAC Systems Ready for Re-Occupancy”. This process is completed by a Systems Survey that includes: Documentation of Supply Airflows, Calculation of Ventilation Rates, Measurement of minimum Outside Air, and Verification that Controls are working properly. This survey gives building owners and occupants peace of mind knowing their working environment has been inspected and verified by industry experts. Link to NWESI’s 4 steps to Re-Occupancy: https://www.nwesi.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/NWESI-Re-Occupancy.pdf

We’ve placed priority and urgency on projects that support healthcare surge / triage spaces for the anticipated inflow of patients. Our role in these projects focused on ensuring ventilation flowrates and relative room pressures were within specifications required to minimize the spread of airborne infections. We are very proud as a company that we have been able to support essential businesses and continue working on projects that our clients and partners have planned and invested in our community. Please reach out to Jewel Bergeron 503-628-9793 or jewelb@nwesi.com to learn more about our services supporting healthy building occupancy.
