THE KICK-OFF: Ocean Pines to offer six-week soccer programs, for boys and girls ages 2-6, in September.

The Ocean Pines Recreation and Parks Department has one striking goal this fall: to become Worcester County’s “central defender” of youth soccer programs.

T-BALL: Boys and girls ages 4-6 will learn softball and baseball basics on Saturdays, from Sept. 15 - Oct. 20 at 10 a.m. Participants will practice hitting, running and throwing using special balls.

TODDLER TIME: Parent and children, ages 18 month- 3 years-old, can join others for indoor playtime, music and movement. Your child will have the opportunity to play with balls, hula-hoops, tunnels and a giant parachute, games and slides. Call 410.641.7052 for more.

SAILING CLASS FOR ADULTS: This sailing class, on Sept. 29 at the Yacht Club from 9 a.m. - noon, welcomes all who love sailing and anyone interested in learning!
Basics of Sailing Class, $15 (classroom) 9:00am–12:00pm;
Basic Sailing on Boat, $85 (on the boat) 1:00pm–3:00pm
