Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences are this afternoon. Reminder about early dismissal at 11:30AM. There will be no lunch or after care. Please email your teacher directly to schedule a conference.
Square 1 Art
Our Square 1 Art orders ~ Your student's artwork will be coming home tomorrow in their mailbag. (Grades Pre-K through 5th) This is a brochure with their artwork featured on the front. You are able to order items with your students artwork on them. It makes great Christmas presents!

Clued In Annual Auction
Save the date!! November 8th @ 6PM our 30th Annual Auction! We are beginning to plan for the big event and would love your help securing some amazing items for the silent and live auction. We are looking for "New or Like New Items". Have a gift that you would like to re-purpose? We have also put together a sign up for baskets if you need some ideas!

We have some wonderful items so far: Baseball Box Seats for Nationals game, WVU Football Tickets, Sight & Sound "Jesus", 2 Family Portrait Sessions at Hartcorn Studios in Annapolis, Golf at Whitetail, Kate Spade Purse, Ski Packages to Whitetail, there are too many to list. Picture Retakes October 22nd
If you didn't like your student's picture or they were not here for picture day, we are doing re-takes on October 22nd. Students are able to dress up that day for their picture.
Volunteer in the Library
We have purchased a new library automation system. This will increase the efficiency of the library and make it possible to search the library records from home. All of the records are in the system; however, the records need to be assigned barcode numbers. The process is simple but time consuming. If you have time to volunteer an hour or two help finalize the library organization, please contact Mrs. Cooper. ( Sheri.cooper@faithchristianacademy.net )
Martins A+ for Education: 
This program tracks your spending via your Bonus card and donates money to the school. YOU must register your card online at MartinsFoods.com. Don’t forget to register, so that FCA gets credit.  This is a great way to give back without spending a penny.

Save the Date
Mark your calendar and plan to attend the FCA Fall Musical on November 18th at 7PM at Airborne Church. Ms. Mann and Mr. Crawford are planning a wonderful performance for us! You won't want to miss it!
Box Tops
We are still collecting the Box Tops that you clip. Send them in by October 18th. The class with the most Box Tops wins an ice cream party.
Attendance
Absentee notes can be emailed to Joy Hobbs at joy.hobbs@faithchristianacademy.net . Please be aware that parents will not be notified if a note is not submitted. It is the responsibility of the parent or student to communicate with the teachers concerning absences and make up work.
