2018 Annual Report and Resolutions Book
The Annual Report and Resolutions Book is   now available. Hard copies will be mailed out shortly to each local government with a copy for each CAO and elected official.  If you are attending Convention, please bring the book with you.  
 

Agricultural Tour


Join the BC Ministry of Agriculture as we take a trip to the Pemberton Valley for an  Agricultural Tour  showcasing a number of new entrants, young successional farmers, and established farmers who are shifting focus to grow a variety of foods for local markets in the Sea to Sky corridor.  Partners and spouses are welcome as well, but must formally register for the tour.


Childminding Registration Deadline Coming Up
A Child Minding Program will be offered once again during the 2018 Convention for elected officials of UBCM members at a nominal fee of $30 plus GST per day per child. Elected officials of UBCM members requiring child-minding services must register by  August 17, 2018. Convention Code of Conduct
All UBCM Convention attendees are asked to read, understand and agree to comply with the Code of Conduct by signing off on the  Agreement and Acknowledgement Form  and returning it to UBCM at  [email protected] .

At the 2016 Convention, delegates endorsed resolution B103 asking UBCM to implement a convention code of conduct. Extensive work has been undertaken and we are pleased to advise that UBCM has a formal  Convention Code of Conduct  in place for the 2018 Convention. 


Partner Program Group Tours


Don't miss the adventures and action in Whistler! This year, partners can book tours and experiences directly through Tourism Whistler. There are specific   UBCM Partner Programs as well as the option to join tours with the general public. If you wish to explore other options click on the menu "View All Activities".


Registration Cancellation Deadline
If you can no longer attend Convention, you must cancel your registration in writing to  [email protected]. Refund policies for cancellations are as follows:
  • Cancel by August 24: 50% refund
  • Cancel on/or after August 25: no refund
