An Update From State Representative Paul Schmid
Diman Graduation Update

There has been a change in the date for Diman's graduation. Ceremonies for National Honor Society, scholarships, outstanding vocational, and graduation will all be within a four-day period. For that to happen the only time that works out is the end of July instead of the middle of August. July 22-25. Graduation July 25.

Veterans Food Pantry

Because no veteran should go hungry
The Massachusetts Military Support Foundation is proud to partner with Westport Veterans' Service Officer and US Marine Veteran Carol Freitas and other local Veteran and Military Family supporters as we provide 100 meal kits for Westport area veterans, military, surviving spouses, Gold Star Families, and White Star families in need.

Each Meal Kit contains non-perishable food items that will provide two weeks worth of healthy meals.

MMSF staff members/volunteers will be setting up and monitoring the pop-up food pantry on the day of operation. They will follow strict procedures to ensure health and wellness for all involved. We ask that you carefully read the instructions in your confirmation email.

Restaurants Reopening in Westport

While COVID-19 may be still around, we are beginning to safely reopen our local economy and one thing Westport does better than anywhere in the Commonwealth is restaurants!

Several restaurants are reopening for outdoor dining and my team and I would like to pass along some of our Westport favorites.

Links to each location are available so take a look at the menus and bon Appétit!
