Led by Dr. Lisa Porter, it will educate students about cancer research and provide the necessary background information for students to effectively communicate about the great cancer research being conducted here in Windsor-Essex. Read more.
Think Tank Milestone!

On July 20th, WCRG held it's 10th Think Tank! The goal of these sessions is to bring people together and share research ideas in an effort to build collaborative projects and increase the number of cancer research grant submissions. Summaries of the past sessions can be found on our website.

If you would like to present at the October Think Tank - contact Karen Metcalfe at karenmet@uwindsor.ca   .

Everyone is welcome!
New Tool Developed for WCRG Members
Do you have people requesting to work in your lab, volunteer on your researcher projects, submit a SWORP grant or shadow you at work? If you do, you may be like many other WCRG members who are looking for a consistent way to respond and track these requests. In response to this, WCRG has has created an Application of Interest that can be used by cancer researchers in Windsor-Essex. Simply direct interested people to the link. If at any time you are looking for a person to volunteer or work with you, contact us and we will share any interested applicants with you.
Thank you to Our WCRG Student Volunteers
The WCRG student volunteers (CURES Team) are key to our success. Often behind the scenes, this dedicated group of students never hesitate to support our events and projects. We'd like to thank them for all they do and highlight a few students who will be moving on. We will definitely miss them!
