Make a resolution to start the New Year getting to know your fellow gardeners. VISTA Gardens is so much more than tending plots; it's the people in the community that make it special.

Potlucks are fun and easy. Simply bring a favorite dish to share, plus whatever you'd like to drink and a few chairs. Come on out and meet the people who garden alongside you.

The New Year has arrived and brought beautiful weather with it... at least for now! Take advantage of temperate mornings and warm afternoons by coming out to the garden to tend and harvest your beds. Don't let your hard work die on the vine!

There are two community activities planned for Sunday - a birdfeeding talk by Carrollwood expert, Greg Williams, followed by a relaxing and fun potluck (details in the newsletter).

The VISTA "House of the RIsing Seeds" team will be hosting a table featuring late winter/early spring cutting flowers as well as a selection of late winter/early spring greens.

Please support your community garden and get an early start on your spring planting.
