ITGA Internship Program
The ITGA Outreach Committee is launching a student intern program that will benefit both the student experience, as well as ITGA organizational needs. Funding is provided by campus-work study or related programs. It will also provide an opportunity for staff and students from different campuses to connect on shared interests. If you are interested in connecting with this program, or for more information, e-mail outreach@itga.org .
ITGA: On Young Professionals
ITGA members Larissa Ennis (University of Oregon) and Douglas Shontz (Borough of State College, PA) are creating an ad hoc committee for young and early career professionals to discuss shared interests, enhanced ITGA social media strategies, and potential presentations or break-outs at our international or regional conferences. A lead goal is to engage with new networks and help build initiatives to serve the greater ITGA membership. If interested, e-mail  dshontz@statecollegepa.us   by Oct. 11.

Neighborhood Identity In a College Town

The Washington region is home to dozens of educational institutions. In many college towns and neighborhoods, demographics are changing. The city council of College Park recently passed a nuisance ordinance billed as a way to improve the community. Council Member John Rigg and other members of the University of Maryland community sit down with Kojo to discuss the new ordinance and what it means for the identity of College Park.

We are delighted to announce that following the success of UKTGA 2018 held at Queen's University Belfast, our 2020 Conference will be hosted by the University of Birmingham Monday, 9th of November-Wednesday 11 of November 2020! UKTGA 2020 will provide delegates with the opportunity to network, learn new concepts and share leading practices to ensure the effective management of town gown relations.
