More about Me -
I am an AADP Board Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach specializing in hormone health. I cater to the Orthodox Jewish community, because everything that I recommend is kosher certified, whether it be food or supplements and I understand the cultural sensitivities around that community, which I am a part of. However, I do work with all types of clients, male or female. If you are suffering from lack of sleep, inability to lose weight/sluggish metabolism, low energy, fertility issues, menopause, thyroid and/or adrenal dysfunction, or you are not sure exactly what is going on in your body, I can help you figure it out. I work alongside functional medicine providers and other health professionals, as needed. I can be your coach to help you work through the difficult transitions that come along with trying to implement lifestyle changes for yourself or your family.
My vision is to produce thriving and healthy families through helping stressed out working moms, because you moms are the glue that holds it all together for your family and I want you to feel loved, supported and empowered, every step of the way!

Friday, August 17, 2018 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM
Holiday Inn, Clark 36 Valley Road Clark, NJ 07066
Mayor Chris Bollwage is now in his twenty-sixth year as Mayor of Elizabeth, a diverse city of more than 125,000. Mayor Bollwage, a native of the city, was elected to his first term in 1992.
During his presentation to us the Mayor will speak about developments in Elizabeth, the port, and the airport.
A full recap of all of the Mayor's accomplishments would take over three pages in his biography, but you should know that the Mayor is currently an adjunct professor in the Public Administration Department at Kean University, where he teaches undergraduate courses in Public Administration. Also a graduate of Kean, Mayor Bollwage holds a graduate degree with honors in Public Administration, has received the Distinguished Alumnus Award, and was later inducted into the Pi Alpha Alpha honor society.
The Mayor has served as president of the New Jersey State League of Municipalities.
Before becoming Mayor, Chris Bollwage was a Councilman for 10 years, serving as Council President in 1989. He was also a member of the Elizabeth Planning Board for four years. Prior to holding elected office, the Mayor served as sales, marketing and public relations representative for A&J Trading Corporation and Traffic Coordinator for Kerr Steamship Incorporated.

SATURDAY JUNE 8, 2019 6th ANNUAL MULTI-CHARITY 5K WALK/RUN
The Generosity Series will be back in
Oak Ridge Park on
June 8, 2019 for another very powerful fundraising opportunity for your organization.
Generosity NJ's 5th annual multi-charity 5K walk/run just last month saw
8 nonprofit organizations raise over $120,000, achieving an unheard of $715.52 average raise per participant! This number is more than 20 times the national 5K average!
Participating charities: The Gateway Family YMCA, Second Street Youth Foundation, Essex County Family Justice Center, Restore Ministries, Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey, Esophageal Cancer Action Network, The Theater Project, and Homefirst.
Generosity handles the traditional planning for this event, leaving the charities end to focus solely on recruiting fundraising participants (for which we provide directional support).
Generosity has raised over 7.4 million for our charity partners, and we do not take a penny of your fundraising or registration dollars.
"Generosity's event saw a greater ROI than any other event we have ever put on. We raised more than our own GALA, and it was easy to do." - Robert McGuire, Executive Director, Cerebral Palsy Nassau County, NY
You too can get into Generosity NJ 2019! Don't miss the early bird discount which expires September 28, 2018. Please reference

The UPS Store
Print & Business Services
|
Hello GECC Chamber Members and Friends!
With the many demands of running a business, it's sometimes difficult to find the time to plan ... to focus on strategy... or simply to reflect on and enjoy your success. I'd like to change that.
Many business owners tell me that one of their greatest challenges is finding time to handle projects like assembling presentations or handbooks, or getting brochures, flyers and business cards printed. At The UPS Store®, we can handle all that for you and much more.
Our business services include:
- Full-color and black-and-white digital printing and copying -no job too small or too large
- E-mail your flies or copy them directly to a USB thumb drive or CD/DVD
- Printing signs, banners, posters, business cards, letterhead, envelopes, forms and more
- Binding, laminating and collating
- Packing, shipping and freight services
We can do so much more than what I've listed, so if you have any needs that you don't see here, don't hesitate to ask!
As a fellow business owner, I realize that our services would be nothing without attention to details and deadlines. I can assure you top customer service when you come to my store.
I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and discuss how we can help make your business run more efficiently and make your life easier. Please feel free to call me at 908-469-2868 or e-mail [email protected], or simply stop by and drop off any work I can take off your hands.
After all, as hard as you work, you deserve to enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done and I want to help you do just that.
Sincerely,
Ben Hertz Franchisee

A Ray of Hope For the Retail Industry
|
The retail industry is facing challenging times. Business Insider reported that electronics, grocery stores, department stores and drug stores are among the sectors threatened by online retailers, such as Amazon. Businesses that were considered "too big to fail" such as Toys "R" Us, Payless and Radio Shack are among the 300 plus companies that filed for bankruptcy within the last year. This makes it more important than ever to find a differentiator along with new revenue streams. One of the ways that many businesses are setting themselves apart is with renewable energy initiatives, and even more specifically, solar.

Trinitas Staff Celebrates First Public Health Innovator Award
|
Members of the Employee Health and Infection Control staff at Trinitas Regional Medical Center (pictured) celebrate their status as the first to receive the NJ Department of Health's Public Health Innovator Award. The award recognizes Trinitas for vaccinating 97 percent of its employees against the flu in an attempt to prevent the spread of the flu among employees, patients and visitors.
"New Jersey has seen more cases of the flu recently than we have in many years," said Jackie Cornell, MPAP, Principal Deputy Commissioner of the NJ Department of Health, during a press conference held in March, when she announced the award. "We want to highlight best practices in combating the flu. We congratulate Trinitas on achieving such a high vaccination rate. You are setting an excellent example."
Gary Horan, FACHE, President and CEO of Trinitas, was equally proud and surprised to be the first organization to be recognized for the award. "We are grateful to the Infection Control Committee and the Employee Health staff, who saw to it that practically everyone at Trinitas was vaccinated, thereby protecting ourselves not only at work, but everywhere we go, as well as vulnerable patients who might otherwise be at risk of contracting the flu," he said. "We realize it was no small undertaking considering our staff of more than 2,000 people, but it was well worth our while to make it happen."
About Trinitas Regional Medical Center
Trinitas Regional Medical Center (TRMC), a major center for comprehensive health services for those who live and work in Central New Jersey, is a Catholic teaching medical center sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth in partnership with Elizabethtown Healthcare Foundation.
