We have a bumper crop of peaches and nectarines this year. Yellow and white freestone peaches, four varieties of donut peaches and juicy nectarines their fuzz free cousins. Our summer time program continues this week in celebrating pears. Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines picking fruit with your young child and listening to a story highlighting that fruit. We will read books about pears and tree fruit followed by an educational component. Then everyone will pick his or her own small container of pears to take home.  Our farm staff will explain how pears grow and how they should be picked. Pre-registration is requested.
