NEW: New York Forward Loan Fund (NYFLF):
for small businesses that did NOT receive PPPs or EIDL, NY State launches new assistance fund
|

New financial support opportunity for small businesses that
did NOT receive SBA assistance (PPP or EIDL):
NYS Governor Cuomo announced the New York Forward Loan Fund (NYFLF) a new economic recovery loan program aimed at supporting New York State small businesses, nonprofits and small landlords as they reopen after the COVID-19 outbreak and NYS on PAUSE.
The NYFLF targets the state’s small businesses with
20 or fewer full-time equivalent (FTE)
employees (90% of all businesses), nonprofits and small landlords that have seen a loss of rental income. The NYFLF is specifically timed to support businesses and organizations as they proceed to reopen and have upfront expenses to comply with guidelines (e.g., inventory, marketing, refitting for new social distancing guidelines) under the New York Forward Plan.
Pre-application for the New York Forward Loan Fund will be open on May 26, 2020
at Noon Eastern Daylight Time. Priority will be given to industries that have been reopened. This is not a first-come, first-served loan program. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis as regions and industries reopen. Businesses who have already received SBA funding through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) or the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) are NOT eligible.

Our district is among the most under-counted NYC districts! Did you know you can provide your informatIon safely, online, RIGHT NOW?
You can fill your Census 2020 questionnaire
HERE.
Over the next decade, lawmakers, business owners, and many others will use 2020 Census data to make critical decisions. The results will show where communities need new schools, new clinics, new roads, and more services for families, older adults, and children.
The results will also inform how hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funding are allocated to more than 100 programs, including Medicaid, Head Start, etc.

We encourage all businesses to actively use social media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter), to inform customers of operational updates.
