HEADLINER
Drive-Up Window and Book Drop Now Open
Pick Up and Return Items without Leaving Your Vehicle!
One of the features of our Phase III Interior Renovation is a drive-up window, which is now open during regular library hours. Adjacent to the window is the new drive-up book drop, available 24/7.

If you anticipate using the drive-up window regularly to pick up your available holds, we'll need to make a change to your account to reflect your preference. Please call 630-469-0879 x5 and talk to a Circulation staff member. However, if you'd like to use the drive-up window at your convenience, please call the library an hour before you arrive and your available holds will be ready for pick up.

SPECIAL EVENT
GEPL Reads for SCARCE
Now through September 2
Keep logging your completed books or numbers of hours read and help make a difference in your community!

The challenge is for adults to read 4,000 books and kids to read for 70,000 hours. If the goals are met, the Friends of the Library and the Library Foundation will each donate funds to SCARCE, an award-winning nonprofit that provides environmental education through hands-on programs to schools, organizations, and the community. If you haven't done so already, you can still sign up and participate in GEPL Reads for SCARCE.
