Leadership implements policy related to refunds and emergency grant funding

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Trump on March 27, 2020. The more than $2 trillion economic relief package includes financial relief for students in higher education. Reinhardt University leadership has implemented a policy related to refunds and emergency grant relief funding.


Reinhardt University operational updates

Taking the lead from the state of Georgia's slow re-opening and updates from cases of COVID-19, Reinhardt University plans for employees to fully return to campus on June 1. The decision to hold Summer Term online remains in effect with modified summer programming in July. New Student Orientation sessions to be held online

In order to maintain health and safety for all involved, the first portion of Reinhardt University's New Student Orientation will be held online in three virtual components. Hill City Elementary awarded for Shamrock Stroll support

Although the 3rd Annual Shamrock Stroll was canceled due to the risk of spreading COVID-19, Hill City Elementary was still awarded with the recognition for most participants, as they would have led the stroll with the highest amount of team members. Thank you to Hill City Elementary, and its principal, Jennifer Halko, for supporting Reinhardt University and the Pickens Scholars program!

The NAIA has granted senior spring student-athletes an extra year of eligibility, but they need your help. As many were set to dominate on their respective fields this spring, that opportunity was taken away. They will have the chance to do it again in Spring 2021, and you can be part of their success.
