WEA
Hello all,

Well, it's obvious that all I'm going to talk about for the next four months is the class I'm taking. The class is called: "Public Narrative: Leadership, Storytelling, and Action." Over 100 participants from over 30 different countries are attending this online class that is conducted by the organizing guru, Marshall Ganz .

Oh my goodness! What an amazing experience my first week of class has been! My teaching fellow for the section lives in Jordan! Rahaf and I had a 1-1 conversation via Zoom. Isn't that amazing? And I get to listen to Marshall Ganz lecture. He's an amazing storyteller. And that's the whole point of the class. Storytelling is a fundamental component of leadership. It's how we connect with people's emotions and motivate them to act. Our stories come from the heart .

During this class, I will be learning about and practicing telling my story of self (who am I?), our story of us (who are we together?), and our story of now (why is there an urgency to do something?). Be prepared - I'm likely going to share these stories here.

Peace!
