In an effort to  build a multicultural conglomerate of resources, talent and network across metro Detroit,  NAMIC-Detroit hosted a luncheon for senior leaders of seven non-profit organizations. The mutual enthusiasm to partner and collaborate was monumental.

NAMIC-New York member and Leadership Seminar alumnus Lucas Ferraro was promoted to Director, marketing at ESPN.
 

NAMIC-Chicago secretary  Jeremy Trask Supervisor, technical operations, Comcast Cable is relocating to Orlando, FL. Jeremy started as a volunteer for the annual NAMIC conference in 2016 and soon elevated to a chapter officer the following year. We wish Jeremy well on his journey!

The incredible story of Madam C.J. Walker, a black hair care mogul and the first self-made female millionaire in American history, is coming to Netflix, the streaming service has announced. Octavia Spencer, who won an Oscar in 2011 for The Help, will portray Walker.

Sling TV, the only streaming TV service to provide Spanish-language content by region, is launching three Argentine channels in its "Sudamérica" regional pack, making Sling TV the leader in South American content among streaming TV providers in the United States. Telefe Internacional, El Trece Internacional, and Todo Noticias join 10 other South American.
