Queers United Coalition gather in protest for a second time in Free Speech Zone last week

Gathering in the Free Speech Zone last Wednesday, members of the Queers United Coalition led UA students, faculty, and staff in protest to demand for the resignation of Dr. Randal Dull--who referred to LGBTQ+ community members as "perverts" and "degenerates" in a published letter he wrote in 2004.

In their second gathering of this month, QUC and demonstrators chanted calls to action to President Robbins and rebukes for his repeated disregard for the safety of LGBTQ+ people on campus. Before leading demonstrators into a silent letter delivery to Old Main, QUC members expressed their plans to demonstrate for as long as it takes Robbins to act.

To receive updates on future demonstrations or to support QUC, you can text @UARESIST to 81010, or visit their Facebook page here
