Dear Friends,

We apologize for more problems with the Livestream for both daily and weekend Masses. We are meeting with our technology people this week to try to resolve the problems once again. Sometimes the problems are user error (that would be me) and sometimes they are problems that exist beyond me. We are beginning this week to Livestream the 5 p.m. Saturday evening Mass. We are doing this so that if we have problems you will still get a recorded version of the Mass sometime Saturday evening. Thanks again for your patience.

This Saturday is the first Saturday of the month. We will have the rosary and First Saturday Devotions at 8 a.m., Mass at 8:30 a.m. and confessions from 9-10 a.m.

Don’t forget that every morning (M-F) we have morning prayer on Zoom at 8 a.m. To access this prayer you need a free Zoom account. To access our morning prayer go to Zoom, click Join a Meeting. Enter the meeting code: 420-227-8504. We currently have about 4-5 people that are part of that prayer time. We are usually finished by 8:15 to 8:20.

We’ve had our second weekend of Masses and I wanted to share with you a little more information. Once again, it is great to have people in Church. Our crowds remain small. We had between 30-50 people at each of the Masses. It was still wonderful to have people in Church. Below is a picture at one of our Masses this past weekend so you can see how the church looks.

We are anxious to have people back but only when you feel safe to do so. People have also asked if people 65 and older can come back yet. I encourage you to use your own judgement. We have had people of all ages coming thus far. Remember, whenever you go out you increase your risk and if you are over 65 this virus seems to be harder on that demographic. We are asking you to continue to use the reservation system on the parish web page if you plan to attend Mass. This will become even more important as more people begin to return to Church.

Work has begun on the new Church. Right now the work remains below ground but it is just a matter of time before you see things beginning to take shape above ground! (see below)

God bless you all and stay well.

Fr. Tom
