Fall Show and Sale Artist Application Process Starts Soon

Our popular Fall Show and Sale will be held the first week of November, just in time for the holiday season.  Following the success of our spring show, the event has been expanded to span four days, from its opening night on Thursday, November 1,  through Sunday afternoon, November 4.

Any artist can enter this juried show. Keep an eye on our website for application dates and links.   Entering requires a Craft Guild membership, and completion of an online application (including uploading 3 photos of your work),  Accepted artists are asked to work just three four-hour shifts through the weekend, and the Guild takes care of all marketing, payments, wrapping and packaging in return for a percentage of sales.  As an organization of artists, we've learned how to make a show easy and rewarding for artists!

Fireworks Fundraiser was a Blast

Food, fun, and pyrotechnics - our Fireworks Fundraiser had it all! Attendees feasted on chicken, pork, or brisket tacos and enjoyed lounging in the shade as they waited for the fireworks to begin.  Addison's Kaboom didn't disappoint, with display after display of award-winning fireworks.

Missed it?  Plan to join us next year

The party was so much fun that we're already planning to do it again next year. We had such fabulous feedback from everyone who came that it appears that, in the first year in our new home, we've already started a new tradition - celebrating Independence Day at the Guild.

Young Artists Exhibition on Sept. 30

The young artists who participated in our summer camps personally selected their best pieces of work to be displayed in our Young Artists Exhibition.

You'll be amazed and impressed by the artistic ability and creativity shown by these artists.  Come see the show and get new inspiration from young minds who are just beginning to express their artistic vision:

Craft Guild Expands Instructor Staff

Gardner & Davis Join Clay Department

The Craft Guild is pleased to welcome two new instructors to our Clay Department, Jay Gardner and Ashley Davis.

Jay Gardner is the owner of Gardner Pottery, and has been a practicing potter for fifteen years. A longtime chorister for the Dallas Opera, he holds an M.A. in music performance.  He is also the founder and co-artistic director of Front LIne Caberet.

Ashley Davis began her creative journey at The University of North Texas in 1990, where she earned her degree in Ceramics, studying under Elmer Taylor. She then started two businesses for her passions,  Mudworks Pottery for ceramics, and Foray Creations for jewelry, photography, and costume creations.

The Guild wishes to thank James Olney, the Clay Department's artistic director, for his contributions to the artistic growth of our ceramics division, and wish him well as he leaves to pursue travel plans.
