Shabbat Shalom! In this Torah portion, Ki Tavo, Moses instructs the Israelites regarding the first fruit offering. Moses then lists the blessings the people will enjoy if they keep the commandments, and the punishments they will suffer for disobeying them.

Friday night services begin this evening at 6:15 pm. Shabbat morning services are at 9:15 am. We will celebrate tomorrow as Fisher Angrist is called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah. Tomorrow morning there is a tot shabbat beginning at 10:45 am led by our fantastic KNS teacher, Hallie Silverstone. 

Candle lighting is at 6:38 pm this evening. 

Thought Question: In this week's questions we get a review of the blessings and curses. What is more likely to cause us to do or not do something-the reward of a blessing or the curse of something terrible?
