9 Free Ways to Keep Cool this Summer
  1. Keep windows, doors, blinds, and curtains closed to keep the sun out of your home.
  2. Open windows and doors when it cools down to let breezes in. 
  3. Dry your laundry on a clothesline.
  4. Wear lightweight, loose-fitting clothes. 
  5. Drink plenty of cool liquids.
  6. Use your kitchen and bathroom fans after cooking and bathing. 
  7. Cook more in your microwave or outside on a grill.
  8. Turn off the lights in unoccupied rooms.
  9. Turn off or unplug unnecessary electronics.

Website Redesign Improves Usability

We recently redesigned our website. We are excited about how simple it will be to use on all of your devices.

The new graphic elements make the site easier to navigate on a mobile phone, desktop computer, laptop, or tablet.

 


Coloring Contest Starts Now

Our 2018 Coloring Contest is underway for children ages 5-12 who live in our service area.

PUD Office Will Close for Training

Upgrade Your Heating & Cooling System to Stay Comfortable All Year

Ductless heat pumps and air source heat pumps both provide affordable comfort year-round. We offer rebates for the installation of both systems. 
Ductless heat pumps qualify for PUD rebates ranging from $400 to $1,200.
Air source heat pumps qualify for PUD rebates ranging from $300 to $1,200.

If you are adding electric load to your home or business, please call us first. This may include building a shop or greenhouse, adding a heat pump, or adding other equipment.
When you add electric load, you risk damaging our equipment and causing outages or other problems. If you add load without contacting us, you are responsible for repair time and costs.
