Youth Leadership Initiative Supports Financial Literacy

For the past 25 years, the   North Carolina Bankers Association Foundation has offered a summer camp experience, known as  Camp Challenge , to high-achieving, low-resource students across North Carolina. This year, the CAHEC Foundation was proud to sponsor 30 students to attend Camp Challenge the week of July 9th. For one-week, middle school students participated in a variety of traditional camp activities like archery, ropes courses, kayaking, and swimming. They also spent part of their time in a financial literacy course exploring topics on career goals, potential income, and budgeting for the future.

The CAHEC Foundation is proud to support this educational and fun camp experience as part of our  Youth Leadership Initiative

Hurricane Season is Here - We Can Help!

Any CAHEC-sponsored LIHTC property that experiences an unexpected disaster is eligible to apply for up to $3,000 through our  Disaster Relief Initiative to help provide resources - like food, water, and shelter - to residents during a time of crisis.
