PreACT:  All sophomores will be taking the PreACT at Rock Bridge on Wednesday, Oct. 16th.  The PreACT simulates the ACT test experience within a shorter test time for all four tests, and will help prepare our students to take the ACT as juniors. The PreACT gives students an estimated ACT test score and can be used as an indicator of college and career readiness. More information will be delivered through your student's World Studies class closer to the Oct. 16th test date.

PSAT:  On Wednesday, Oct. 16th the PSAT test will be offered to juniors. The PSAT is use to determine eligibility and qualification for the National Merit Scholarship Program during a student's junior year and also serves as a practice test for the SAT.  Due to limited space at our testing site, the PSAT will be limited to juniors only this year.  FREE practice materials are available on the College Board website at: https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt-psat-10/practice.  This site provides practice paper/ pencil tests, sample questions, and free personalize practice through Khan Academy.
Juniors wanting to register for the PSAT should see Mrs. Geyer in the counseling office for the registration form .  The registration fee is $25 and forms must be returned no later than Sept. 27th, although with limited seating and test availability, we strongly encourage students to return their registration form early to ensure a testing spot.
