Growing in Grace and Gratitude Curriculum
multi-age "Stories, Colors, and More"
for 2015-2016 & 2016-2017
Covenant Presbyterian Church, Frazier

Covenant PC is excited to expand their Sunday offerings for children.  And, they are excited about their plan! Covenant used Growing in Grace and Gratitude for two academic years: 2015-2016 and 2016-2017.  They have the downloaded leader guides and Grace Notes for the multi-age group, but they no longer have the "Stories, Colors, and More" resource. Covenant's goal is to purchase 2019-2020 curriculum, but then choose from the three years of material in order to form clusters around themes.  For example, their all-church theme for the year is "Called to Journey Together" so they want to first explore "Journeys" using:  4/3/16 - "Our Eyes Were Opened", 9/13/15 - "God Makes a Promise" and 10/20/19 - "Your God Shall Be My God".

Please contact Jen Langlois at [email protected] if you have any information on locating  "Stories, Colors, and More" for 2015, 2016, or 2107.

Then Sings My Soul Concert
Sunday, October 6 at 3pm
Highland Presbyterian Church of Lancaster

On Sunday afternoon, October 6 at 3pm in Highland's Sanctuary, "Then Sings My Soul" will be performing their musical. "Then Sings My Soul" is an original musical presentation, and features 4 professional vocalists from the Lancaster, PA area. Highlighting historical musical moments of the 1950s-1960s, the musical performs hymns made famous by George Beverly Shea, Dale Evans and the ministry of Rev. Billy Graham.  The program includes a look at the history behind over 30 of the most famous hymns - many of which were written as a result of tragic and trying circumstances. Featuring favorites such as How Great Thou Art, I'd Rather Have Jesus, His Eye is on the Sparrow and Just as I Am, there's even an old-fashioned hymn sign, just like in the 'good old days'!

Admission is Free with a good will offering taken to cover the expenses of the performance and any remaining funds going to local area mission. A meet and greet the musicians following the performance will be in the Narthex with a light reception.
