The headliner performers in Millennium Park include Ramsey Lewis, Kurt Elling, Dianne Reeves, Maceo Parker and Orbert Davis' Chicago Jazz Philharmonic. "Flying Creatures" Street Sculpture Soar on Wabash Ave
As part of the Year of Creative Youth, an array of kinetic street sculptures - or modern gargoyles - were created by students from youth art programs at SkyART, After School Matters, Dundee-Crown High School, Marengo Community HIgh School and YOUmedia Chicago. DCASE, in partnership with the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) artscape program, has installed 45 "Flying Creatures" on street poles along Wabash Avenue between Washington and Randolph Streets, with more come soon up and down Wabash Avenue.

Part of 2nd Tuesdays on the Riverwalk, LUMA8 is partnering with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events to present monthly
Arts in the Dark Lantern Processions featuring illuminated creations made with After School Matters and other area Chicago arts organizations. Procession begins between Franklin and Wells and goes east to Lake Shore Drive.
