CCA families must be registered for Champions. Like the CCSD and Wholesome Food Services registrations, this must be done each year. Champions will no longer accept students who are not registered. Please visit the Champions website today to ensure that your account is up to date.

CCA's 8th grade is excited to invite you to their 2019 Constitution Museum to celebrate the Constitution's "birthday"! We be hosting our museum on September 17th from 9:15-11:15 a.m. in the gym. We hope to see you there!
Fly like an Eagle
Friday's Fly like an Eagle Day was a huge success! Students participated in team building activities, practiced yoga, helped create and amazing patchwork project, and enjoyed a delicious lunch! Thank you to our amazing Fly like an Eagle Committee and all of our awesome volunteers for helping create such a wonderful day for our students.

Student Council invites students in grades 5 - 8 to Movie Night!

Student Council's Middle School Movie Night will be on September 20th from 5 to 7:00 p.m. and will feature original animated Lion King.

Admission to movie night is free, but there will be snacks and pizza available for purchase. Snack Shack items will be $1, and pizza slices will be $2. They will also offer a bundle deal that will feature soda, candy or chips, popcorn and and 2 pieces of pizza for $5.
And don't forget, Snack Shack is open on Fridays during middle school lunch periods! There are tons of delicious goodies for sale! Everything is ONLY $1!

Lego Club starts this week!

Grades K - 2: Intro to STEM using LEGOs

  • $153 for the 8 week session

The CCA's Girls Volleyball team has an away game today, at American Academy Castle Pines, and home games tomorrow and Thursday. Come cheer them on!
The CCA's Boys Soccer team has a home game Thursday. Come cheer them on!
Cross Country has scheduled many meets for this season. Please click here to view their race schedule. They would love anyone available to come out and cheer them on.

Please note:  Students NOT picked up from school by 3:50 p.m. or 15 minutes after the last dismissal time from classes or after school activities such as clubs, team sports, or tutoring, will be sent to Champions and families will be charged a supervision fee when the child(ren) is picked up.  All families are required to register their student(s) on Champions website to ensure each student’s emergency information is on file.
We have lots of wonderful volunteer opportunities right now!
Per the  Cherry Creek Academy Volunteer Policy , all parents/legal guardians of children at CCA shall volunteer as outlined below:  
• Two parent family – 40 hours, per school year (both parents in the same household) 
• Joint parenting family – 20 hours each parent, a total of 40 hours, per school year (parents in separate households, but both responsible for child’s care) 
• Single parent family – 20 hours, per school year (one parent solely responsible for child’s care)
Our PTO Fundraising Committee needs your help! They are still looking for a Fundraiser Chair. If you are interested, please email ptofundraising@cherrycreekacademy.org . Kent Denver Open House
Kent Denver is excited to invite prospective CCA families to see their  inspirational educators "in action" at Kent Denver's Open House event,  Experience Kent Denver  on Saturday, Sept. 21st at 9:45 a.m.  All academic departments from Athletics, to College Counseling, to Financial Aid, and more, will be in attendance to greet and inform interested families. The will also have live music provided by our very own Quincy Avenue Rhythm Band. Cherry Creek School District Parent Information Network (P.I.N.)

The Regis Jesuit Varsity Poms Mini Clinic for students in grades K- 8 will be on October 5th from 2 - 5 p.m. in the Girls Division Gym. 7th Annual Cardboard Challenge
Wednesday, October 30, 2019; 4:30 - 7 p.m.
The Cardboard Challenge is a celebration of child creativity and the role communities can play in fostering it inspired by the short film, “Caine’s Arcade.” Kids are challenged to create and build using cardboard, recycled materials and their imagination.
