Give YOUR Input on City Priorities
The City budget is really a statement of the community’s priorities. That’s why we created the Citizens’ Guide to the budget, free online, which explains the budget and how it affects YOU.

While we’re proud of our balanced budgets, we know that maintaining and building our community will require long-term investment and community input. So, as we plan for future budgets, we want to hear from you! Please join the conversation by taking a brief online survey about your service priorities .

And if you’d like one of our friendly budget experts to explain the City’s budget and future challenges at your organization’s next meeting, just email us at jointheconversation@moval.org or call 951-413-3021 to request a speaker.

"Prepared, Not Scared"
Create an Emergency Plan During
National Preparedness Month
If The Big One strikes tomorrow -- or right now -- are you prepared? What about a wildfire? Flood? If you're not prepared, you're certainly not alone. September, however, is National Preparedness Month , and the perfect time to create or improve your emergency-response plan.

There's a lot to consider, including lack of cell phone service, reuniting with your children, caring for pets and much more. But our Office of Emergency Management can help you get started. Any preparation is better than none, and beginning now is better than waiting another day. Remember: " Prepared, Not Scared ."
The City of Moreno Valley strongly supports local businesses. One way is through the Business Spotlight program. The Spotlight is a 30-second professional video production created by the award-winning MoVal Media team to promote your business.

Four businesses in each Council district are spotlighted each year. The Spotlight is posted to the  MVTV-3 YouTube Channel and the City's Facebook , runs on MVTV-3 and is showcased on the City’s website . You'll be recognized at a City Council meeting and even get a DVD copy of your Spotlight!

Visit the City's Economic Development Department to find out how to turn the Spotlight on YOUR business.
