The new GSP Photo Directory is almost complete. We have discovered several members are missing from the directory. Please take a moment to look at the copies in the narthex or at the Welcome Table and make sure your family is listed in the directory. Please e-mail your family information to Pam Spears, our Parish Administator -

Thank you for help as we try and include all our members in the GSP directory.
Sunday School Update

We had a fun kickoff to Sunday School last week and are continuing with the theme “God’s light shines through us!” by making tissue paper heart sun catchers this Sunday.

We know families are busy and another benefit of the Love First curriculum is it is easy for children to drop into Sunday School whenever they are able and pick right up with the lesson. For the next few weeks we are talking about how to love ourselves and parents can simply ask their children, “How did you learn to love better today?” This is the question we seek to answer each week.

Teachers are meeting again Sept. 15, at 11:45 a.m., in the Weeks Room. We have been blessed with an awesome group of teachers again this year, thanks be to God!
Youth Group update

Excitement builds as plans are being made to have a youth group gathering every Sunday at 10:00 a.m., as well as our monthly fun activity! We have new leaders stepping up and are looking for a few more.

Our first meeting is Sunday, Sept. 22, 11:45am in the Youth Room.

PARENTS OF YOUTH, PLEASE JOIN US IF YOU ARE ABLE!!
Centering Prayer

A Contemplative Retreat is being planned for Saturday, October 12, at Sanctuary Cove in Tucson. Space is limited to 15 people. Please contact Pastor Kimberlee if you are interested in attending.
Our Season of Creation is starting next month. For all of us to prepare for the season:  On   Sunday, September 29, our Grace St. Paul's semi-annual dog and cat food collection will be at both the 7:45 am and 10 am services.  Please bring an unopened bag of dog and/or cat food to church and put it with the Joseph's Food Pantry shopping basket in the front or side of the church. The food will be divided up by members of the Animals and Spirituality ministry, to be distributed to our Pantry guests who have dogs and cats in need of food- and there continues to be many of them. And the need continues to grow! We are one of the few religious/spiritual centers now having dog and cat food available for the houseless. As indicated in our prior food drives, the need continues to grow. We'll be re-bagging the food following both services, you are welcome to stay after the service and help us.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask Nanette Alvarez, or Rev. Chris Ledyard in person or through the church office, 520-327-6857. THANK YOU!!
