Gene17's River Flow Newsletter
Autumn is certainly now here, a for find a few more thermals are the river days get colder. Our summer has been another vintage edition, lots of fun in Norway with a near full range of programmes, with paddlers from Australia, Singapore and the USA joining our regular European crowd. We also had good trips to both the French Alps and Slovenia too. The Sjoa River Festival was again full of sunshine and great clinics.
Currently Simon is about to head to Slovenia to turn around logistics from the summer as well as run a late season Soča LaunchPad course. Plus next week at PaddleExpo, he'll meet up with Jakub to scope out new toys for 2020. Deb has been writing up her PhD, and will be in Devon all autumn for our course programme. Autumn and winter projects have been set, with paddling adventures for some, research projects for others and time to reflect on the season's events for all.
Later next month our UK season kicks off down in Devon, with rain in the forecast and our drysuits are at the ready!
