Director's Message
Happy Thursday, LBCS Families!

I hope everyone's September is off to a great start. Here at LBCS, we are well into our first units of study. You should have heard from your classroom teachers about what your children are working on in the classroom. Please use the emails and newsletters from your teachers to spark conversations at home about what is happening at school. We love to hear about student action taken outside of the classroom!

PTC had a great meeting last night, thanks to everyone who showed up. Our PTC is a HUGE support and is why we get to offer our students the experiences that we do here. If you are able to attend meetings, we would love to have you there! Our next meeting is Wednesday, 10/9 at 7pm at Gander in Loomis. We also have some great events coming up in October, our Fall Carnival (10/18, put on by our 5th grade families) and our Jog-A-Thon (10/25, put on by our 4th grade families). Our Jog-A-Thon is one of our bigger fund raisers for the year, so be on the look out for information on how to help your children get their pledges!

We are so happy to work with your children every day. Thank you for such a great start to the year.
