Amit Rastogi, MD, MHCM, named CEO of Jupiter Medical Center
Jupiter Medical Center announced the appointment of physician leader Amit Rastogi, MD, MHCM as Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Rastogi will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for the medical center's expanding clinical programs, state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technologies. Dr. Rastogi's first day will be Sept. 23.

Dr. Rastogi held several executive roles at Yale New Haven Health, serving as Chief Medical Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and interim Chief Executive Officer for the 700-provider clinical enterprise (NEMG). During his tenure, Dr. Rastogi instituted numerous safety and quality initiatives and helped implement healthcare technology solutions. Most recently, Dr. Rastogi served as Senior Vice President of Strategy, Growth and Innovation at Inova Health, Northern Virginia's leading healthcare system that serves more than 2 million people annually. As part of Inova's senior leadership team, Dr. Rastogi helped set strategic direction for the organization's hospitals, ambulatory care network, direct-to-consumer initiatives, population health, medical education and research.

Baptist Health South Florida Names Mark Coticchia VP for Innovation
Baptist Health South Florida announced the appointment of venture development leader Mark Coticchia as Corporate VP for Innovation, a role that will build on three decades of medical innovation at the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization in South Florida. In the newly created role, Coticchia will report to Joe Natoli, Executive VP and Chief Administrative Officer, and Barry T. Katzen, MD, founder and Medical Director of Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. Dr. Katzen led the launch of Innovation Institute Miami two years ago as a resource for the entrepreneurial spirit and intellectual talent at Baptist Health.

"Mark brings 35 years of experience in early-stage venture development - sourcing, vetting and investing in new technologies and companies through an international network of talent, capital and technology. His efforts have helped generate new revenues in the hundreds of millions of dollars and added to the reputations of organizations as great places for smart and creative people to work," Natoli said.
Holy Cross CEO to Step Down
Patrick A. Taylor, MD, MBA, President and CEO of Holy Cross Hospital has decided to leave his position, effective October 30, 2019. Over the past 30 years, Dr.

Taylor has been dedicated to serving the Holy Cross community. Dr. Taylor joined Holy Cross Hospital in 1988 as an emergency medicine physician and served in multiple positions of increasing responsibility such as Executive Director of Medical Affairs for the Holy Cross Medical Group, a multi-specialty employed physician group; Vice President of the Medical Group, Chief Medical Officer, and Chief Operating Officer of Holy Cross Hospital. In 2010, he became President and CEO.

"It has been my honor, and I have been blessed, to serve at Holy Cross," said Dr. Taylor. "No words will capture how significant a part of my and my family's life Holy Cross has been. I have the deepest gratitude to so many people who have supported me and us along the way. The Sisters of Mercy have left such an indelible mark on my life."
