Regional Care Leadership Transition - Many thanks to John and Lois Glick for their many years as Regional Care Ministers for Region G. Their dedicated service and care have deeply impacted many people in their region over the years. Welcome to Naaman and Sadie Shirk as they have assumed the role of Regional Care Ministers for Region G.

Eastgate House of Prayer - Join us this Tuesday at 7 p.m. as Anna Landis and her team lead us in an evening of Devotional Worship. These times of worship create an atmosphere that is perfect for individual Bible study, meditating on the Lord, and personal prayer times. For the month of September, we are focusing on the truths found in Ephesians. Childcare is provided through age 7. All are welcome!

Petra Annual Congregational Meeting - All Petra members and regular attenders are invited to a congregational meeting on Monday, September 23, at 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Hear some exciting reports from ministry leaders and join us as we celebrate God's faithfulness through the sharing of a healthy financial report.

Petra Staff Position Open - Petra is seeking a full-time Middle School Director to lead, plan, and implement ministry for the students in EDGE 56 and EDGE 78. Petra Fall Fest - Mark your calendars for the 2019 Petra Fall Fest on Saturday, October 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.! As always, there will be carnival games, inflatables, tasty food, and lots of fun. Volunteer sign-up begins on Sunday, September 29.

The 2019-20 DOVE Hopewell Leadership and Ministry Training School begins this weekend, September 13 and 14, with "Destiny, Spiritual Gifts, and Leadership." Classes run on Friday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Partial scholarships from Petra are available for Petra attenders. Senior Adults
Senior Adults (age 62+) are invited to work and fellowship together while engaging in a service project on Monday, September 23, at 9 a.m. We'll be cleaning the Petra Homestead on the corner of Ranck and Airport Roads as extensive renovation begins to wind down. Please bring cleaning supplies for windows, floors, tubs, and sinks. We'll have lunch together at the Dutchette afterward.
ELANCO Celebrate Recovery
ELANCO Celebrate Recovery will be completing its second year this September, and is holding a Celebration Event at the Petra Patio on Thursday, September 19, from 6 to 8 p.m.! We will be enjoying a picnic meal with hamburgers, hot dogs, and lots of other good food. During the meeting, we will have a time of worship, and several of us will be sharing how Celebrate Recovery is changing lives. Join us for what we believe will be a blessed time of fellowship.
 
We are currently looking for more volunteers in the following areas: men and women who can serve as front-door greeters; staffing the welcome table; set-up and tear-down duties; and serving dinner every week. The only requirements are that you love Jesus and love people. For volunteer information and response, please contact Carol Musser at 717-587-2202.

Lit 'n Latte - Are you a woman who loves to read? Join us in the Welcome Center on Wednesday, September 18, from 1 to 3 p.m. for the first of our monthly meetings. Lit 'n Latte meets the third Wednesday of the month at the same time but different locations. Each participant will read and discuss the Christian books of her choice. Wild at Heart BASIC is a Boot Camp led by John Eldredge and his team through video sessions. This is a 10-week adventure beginning Tuesday, September 17, at 7 p.m. The cost is $10.

Amplified Fitness is designed for men 18+ who want to become physically fit in an environment that is encouraging and relational.The group will meet on Mondays and Thursdays from 6-7 p.m. from September 16 - December 19.
The Conquer Series is a cinematic teaching on sexual purity to help men get to the root of bondage while offering proven principles and practical tools to conquer pornography and find freedom. This 10-week discipleship group begins Tuesday, September 17, at 7 p.m. The cost is $30.
A new study entitled Attributes For Men , by Vince Miller, will offer 10 lessons aiming to show nine attributes that Jesus modeled as the ideal man. This 10-week group begins Tuesday, September 17, at 6 a.m. The cost is $10.

EDGE 56 Day Retreat - Come to Tel Hai Camp on Saturday, September 21, for a great day of worship and powerful teaching, relationship-building, and fun activities, such as boating, kiddie pool kickball, gaga ball, and more! The cost is $35 per student. The EDGE 78 Weekend Retreat will take place at Tel Hai that entire weekend, September 20-22. The cost is $100 per student. Register online by today.
Local Outreach
Petra Food Bank - Volunteers are needed at the Petra Food Bank on the second Wednesday or Thursday of each month for the opening shift. LeadStocker is also needed. If you can lend a hand, please contact Mike Steffy at 717-468-6006 or foodbank@petra.church .
Petra Homestead Project - This Saturday , September 14, we will continue to work on installing vinyl plank flooring on the first floor, along with baseboard and quarter-round trim. There will also be some painting to complete as well as work for electricians. Your help will be greatly appreciated as we draw closer to completing this project! Fair Season is here! Mission Prayer Focus - Barbara Stoltzfus is a Petra associate missionary ministering to the indigenous peoples of the Peten region of Guatemala. Pray for strength, encouragement, and wisdom for her as she shares God's love with the people in various practical ways.

Fundraiser Meal - Enjoy taco salad, tortilla chips with salsa and guacamole, and dessert this Sunday, September 15, at 12:30 p.m. The proceeds will benefit Tina Moore, who serves with Orphan Resources International in Guatemala. Take-outs will be available at 10:30 a.m.
