NOTIFICATION TO RESIDENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES

Dear Gilpin Hall Family,
It is with sadness I inform you that this morning we received test results for one resident who has been confirmed positive for COVID-19. The safety and well-being of all residents and staff remain our top priority and we are taking appropriate steps based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Delaware Public Health (DPH).
As of Thursday, June 4
th
, all asymptomatic residents have been tested and all other results were negative. Due to this positive case, other residents may be tested and you will be informed if this testing includes your loved one. Yesterday we began testing of staff and sent 57 tests to the lab for processing. We plan to have all baseline staff testing done over the next week and will repeat staff testing every week thereafter.
Due to government privacy requirements, we cannot divulge specific information about any individual who has confirmed or suspected COVID-19. We know that you may have questions and we ask that you direct your questions to
