Sermon Series
 "Greatest Hits"
Now-Oct. 6Sermonseries

Whatever the genre, each of our lives has a soundtrack; the songs that we return to again and again in good times and in bad. Our faith has familiar lyrics too, those "greatest hits" of our scriptures that we turn to time and again. Join Rev. Seth Ethan Carey and Rev. Kendra Joyner Miller this Fall for a musical exploration of the songs and the stories, the anthems and the rhythms that echo in our ears and in our hearts.

Construction News

Pilgrim Hall Renovation Report: Progress continues on our remodel project. We are about 65 percent complete starting Sept. The ancient plumbing is repaired, adding service for our new laundry room to help us serve PADS and the church. A new electrical infrastructure is in place with more new LED lighting going in each day now. Walls have been repaired and new ceiling soffits and grids are expanding each day. Duct work and diffusers for heating and cooling is going into place this week. Flooring is installed in the Annex, hallway and laundry room. The new performance platform is constructed. New parts for radiators, doors, windows and other items are arriving each day. A substantial amount of the work will be complete by our mid-September target with the rest following in the back half of the month.

The PADS team has patiently and thoughtfully maintained a high service level throughout the summer, utilizing the all-purpose room, chapel, parlor and South lobby. Coming weeks will bring more transitions as we add Sunday school classes and meeting back into the mix. Thanks to all for their extra effort and patience.
