They say that the
Bar Mitzvah rite celebrates a boy becoming a man. If that is true, Asher has been ready
for this moment his entire life. Asher has always exhibited kindness, compassion, and understanding well beyond his years.
Abraham Lincoln once said that you can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry. Intolerance makes Asher angry, as does racial inequality. Asher has always been guided by an ethos far beyond his years. If you are his friend, he is loyal beyond measure; if something is ethically wrong, he will not hesitate to say so. There is no doubt in his parents minds that Asher will one day be a doctor. Or a mad scientist. He is smart, funny and, when he wants something, very dedicated. This
Bar Mitzvah is something he has chosen to do himself and has worked very hard to accomplish. We could not be prouder of our little man.

K’rov Yisrael interfaith families a place to join together as we worship, learn, and celebrate Judaism in a dynamic and caring community. Every person counts and everyone is welcome.
