A Message from the Dean
I hope you had a wonderful, relaxing summer. We’re looking forward to the start of the fall term and the nearly 700 engineering students moving in this weekend. As a member of our community, please consider joining us for the inaugural State of the College event on Monday, Oct. 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. here on campus. A 5 p.m. reception with light refreshments will give us all an additional chance to reconnect. Faculty, staff, students, and all dragon engineers past and present are most welcome! More details to come.

Meanwhile, enjoy this news-packed issue of our College of Engineering Newsletter.
