This
PFA
invites applications for high-quality comparative effectiveness research (CER) projects that will examine a critical patient-centered research question that is also relevant to decision makers and other stakeholders. Investigators should propose an individual-level or cluster randomized controlled trial of significant scale and scope, requiring funding in excess of $10 million in direct costs.
Projects must advance the existing knowledge base in the areas of health care financing, delivery, management and/or policy.
Interested researchers must submit a brief letter of inquiry (LOI) outlining their study idea by July 20, 2020; invited 10 page proposals due in Sep 2020.

Proposals should relate to the hearing or balance functions of the ear. One $75,000 award.
AHRF typically funds six to ten regular research grants that investigate various aspects of hearing and balance disorders related to the inner ear. Grants are for $20,000 to $50,000 for one year of research.
Proposals should to explore the cause(s) of sudden hearing loss. Both basic and clinical studies may be proposed that investigate aspects of the auditory system including but not limited to genetics, neurotology, anatomy, and molecular and cellular biology.
Proposals should investigate the causes, diagnosis, or treatment of Meniere’s disease relating to the hearing or balance functions of the ear. A
mount can range from $20,000 to $25,000.
