Today is World Mental Health Day!
Nonprofit professionals work hard and in tough fields - it's important to intentionally look after your mental health.

A few quick action steps: Keep active, eat well (how come all of the bad food is so so tasty??), keep in touch with friends, do something creative, learn something new (join us for a workshop!), and much more!

You Can Help Close the Nonprofit Pay Gap
Last year, NPP conducted the 2018 NWPA Nonprofit Salary Survey. This survey has provided us with a wealth of anecdotal information that can help us think about how our organizations work and how we can make them better.

Not only are nonprofit staff underpaid, but there's also a nonprofit pay gap. The first step is admitting there's a problem. Once you've done that, you're that much closer to solving it. Check out Erin Yates' recent blog post: "Hey, Nonprofit Leaders! You Can Help Close the Nonprofit Pay Gap" for a step in the right direction!
