Fall 2020 Planning During Uncertain Times FAQ
UC San Diego’s Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs has released further information for Fall Quarter 2020 to help our students plan for the year ahead during this time of uncertainty. It includes answers to frequently asked questions about everything from enrollment, online instruction, safety on campus, and housing. We encourage all students to visit that page with common questions  here . 

In addition to this great resource, we continue to encourage our students to consult ISPO's Coronavirus Information for International Students webpage, as this also includes continually-updated FAQs and information specifically for our international student population, both new and continuing.

As always, if you have questions or concerns you want to discuss with ISPO, we invite you to email us at  inewstudent@ucsd.edu  or attend one of our Zoom Advising Sessions just for for new students, offered Monday-Friday each week.

Alone Together: COVID-19 Emotional Support Forum
for International Students
UCSD’s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) & ISPO are offering an Emotional Support Forum for International Students! Sharing connection, coping strategies, physical and psychological safety will help us fuel resilience. This is a weekly drop-in forum and every international student is welcome. Together, we will help you manage in the face of the enormous psychological strain that COVID-19 is generating. This forum will be led by CAPS Psychologist Dr Sophia Chang. 
 
Date: Wednesdays 1-2 PST (Weekly)
Become a Global Ambassador Program (GAP) Mentee!
The Global Ambassadors Program (GAP) is a summer-long peer mentoring program designed to assist incoming undergraduate international students in acclimating to a new environment and making a smooth transition into university life at UC San Diego. Deadline to sign up to be a GAP Mentee is Wednesday, July 1!
