New class offering - Physical Education Elective
Starting Monday, August 13!
A new elective class -- Physical Education -- is a course based on selected standards from Indiana’s Academic Standards for Physical Education and will be offered each semester starting with the Fall semester of the 2018-2019 school year.

BCHS is adding this new course to improve athleticism of the Bishop Chatard athletes and increase their readiness to play. The focus is on developing fundamental athletic qualities which include; strength, power, speed, agility and mobility with an emphasis on injury prevention.

The class is offered every Monday morning from 8 - 8:40 a.m. and Tuesday through Thursday morning from 7 - 7:40 a.m. so this will not disrupt a student's current course schedule. This class has a limited enrollment and priority will be based on seniority and time of application. In order to be eligible to enroll, students must be academically eligible to play their respective sport at the time of the application.
