GAP
Every year the Elementary and Junior High have Get Acquainted Parties (GAP) to catch up with old friends and connect with new ones. Attending is a great way to begin the new school year and welcome new families. 
We need a family from each grade to host those parties. If you are interested please contact [email protected] for elementary grades and [email protected] for 8th grade.
Volunteer Opportunity
Sign-up to cover your 20 hours!

JH/SH parent assistance is needed to help with lunch at the JH/SH Campus.
For the 2018-2019 school year, volunteers are needed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Friday
from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m
.
Fitness Training 

Fitness training will be starting back up on August 21.  This school year, we will hold training on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:15 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.

*This is open to all Junior High and Senior High students.

Dominican Republic Sister School - Back-to-School Supply Drive 2018

As you begin back-to-school shopping, please remember our D.R. sister school friends with whom our high schoolers have visited and worked for the past three years!  You can help by bringing a school supply item(s) from the below list and/or a monetary donation to our  Tuesday, Aug. 14th,  Back-to-School night in the JH/HS cafeteria near the Project Mañana Ice Cream Fundraiser.  

*If you can, please also include a card/letter/picture for our D.R. sister school students. This goodwill donation will help keep their shelves stocked this school year. Any assistance is much appreciated!

FIRST LEGO LEAGUE  
Grades 6-8 : Sign Up NOW!
 
FIRST LEGO League challenges kids to think like scientists and engineers. During
the "Into Orbit" season, teams of up to 10 students will choose and solve a real-
world problem in
an open-ended project. Teams will also build, test, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® technology to solve a series of space-themed missions as part of the Robot Game. Along the way, they develop critical thinking, team-building, and presentation skills.

CCS will be launching several of these teams. Students will meet after school once per week from September 1 - December 15. Sign up at Back-to-School night - or contact  Mr. Tim Burkett directly.

TRIP will run weekly
all summer long!    
Orders will be due on Mondays at 7:00 a.m. Orders will be sent to the Junior/Senior High Campus.  Once orders are received, Jo Lynn Veldkamp will contact you by text or email to let you know your orders are available for pick-up at the JH/SH Campus front office during normal summer office hours: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.
