Introduction to the GOAL GUIDE
Welcome to the first issue of the “GOAL GUIDE”, a monthly newsletter that will highlight various activities, programs and events that enable our community to get out and VOLUNTEER, GIVE, PARTICIPATE and LIVE !

People may know the GOAL Foundation as the producers of the community’s marquee athletic event, the Zions Bank Ogden Marathon, but we like to say, the GOAL Foundation is much more than a marathon. Founded on the wings of the 2002 Winter Olympics, GOAL was inspired by a group of community leaders who wanted to host the games and keep the volunteer spirit of the Olympics alive and well in Weber County. The organization has become an incredible volunteer organization that provides support for World-Class outdoor athletic events that help brand the greater Ogden area as an Outdoor Recreation Mecca.

In addition to providing volunteer support, GOAL produces programs and events that are in line with its mission to “inspire the Greater Ogden Community and its visitors to "Get Out And Live!" by participating, volunteering and spectating at recreational events, programs and activities. They envision a Greater Ogden community that thrives economically and is healthier in mind, body and spirit.

We hope you enjoy the “GOAL Guide” and it will inspire you to “Get Out And Live!”
