St Joseph High School - A Catholic College Preparatory Community
A Class of 2020 Senior Celebration!
On Friday, June 5, the Class of 2020 came together to celebrate in an incredible fashion!

Students - decked out in their Maroon & Gold decorated cars - drove around St Joes to pick up their cap and gown, alumni swag bags, and yearbooks. Faculty and staff celebrated and cheered on our students as a DJ played music and the lawn was covered in signs with well wishes.

We are so proud of the Class of 2020 (and all of our students) for the resilience they have shown throughout this pandemic. We cannot wait to celebrate them in July!
Alumni Shirt Design Winner!

Congratulations goes out to Julia DiCesare '20 , who designed the first official alumni t-shirt for the Class of 2020!

During Friday's Senior Celebration, all students were given a shirt as a token of appreciation from the Advancement & Alumni Office!

Seniors: be sure to share your updated email address with our Alumni department! Email alumni@sjcadets.org.
Book Drop Offs: June 8-10

Underclassmen: on Friday, May 29, you should have received an email from Mr Clough regarding drop off times for books, locker access, and yearbook pickup.

Cadet Spotlight!

We're so proud to spotlight Nicole Plavec '22! She and her sister, Natalie, have been sewing masks for those in need.

Together, they've made about 200 masks, which were donated to friends in NYC, the staff of Norwalk Veterinary Hospital, and the Susanna Wesley School.

They've also been busy making greeting cards for senior citizens! Way to go!
Honoring Our Underclassmen

On Thursday, June 4th at 7:00PM, St Joes hosted a virtual award ceremony for our underclassmen!

Register for Bus Transportation by August 1

St Joes offers 4 bus routes (including Trumbull town bus). A bus route's availability is contingent on the amount of registrations by families by the start of the school year.
One Book, One School, One Community.

St Joe's One School, One Book initiative engages our school community in a literary experience that reaches beyond the classroom and traditional summer reading assignments. Each student at St Joes must read  The Day the World Came to Town for their summer reading assignment. Through our shared reading experience, we will explore varied projects for each academic discipline, and come together as a community for shared discussion and activities. Projects will be assigned in September.

The Day the World Came to Town: 9/11 in Gander, Newfoundland by Jim Defede ISBN-10: 0060559713

Review St Joes Online!

Parents & Students: school reviews are a great way for families, teachers, and future Cadets to learn about our incredible community.

Sharing your opinion will help families discover whether St Joes is right for them. It matters where you go to high school - and we want everyone to know about St Joes!

We hope all of our parents and students will take the time to share what they love about St Joes with the rest of the world!
Cadets Carry On:
Tuition Relief Fund
Dear SJ Families & Alumni:

This year, we have decided to use "Cadets Carry On" as the theme of our spring appeal. It conveys the strength and resilience of our unique community.

Many families have been impacted by the current pandemic and need support. Our students have even gone so far as to redirect their walk-a-thon funds to those who have been financially impacted. We know we will come out this stronger.

During the month of June, we ask that you consider a gift to the Cadets Carry On fund. Our academic success is directly tied to the generous support and constant encouragement of all who believe in our mission. Your gift, no matter how large or small, will ensure that our community continues to stay strong. We thank you in advance for your support!
